Updated Club Rules

1.    Only Club members and approved visitors can use the courts.

2.    Members must carry or wear shoe tags at all times.

3.    Shoe tags and court keys must not be lent to any other person.

4.    Competition matches and coaching lessons conducted by the Club Coach take priority over social play.

5.    Non-marking shoes must be worn at all times whilst playing or practising on the courts.

6.    Food and drink (other than water or sports drinks) are not permitted on the court areas.

7.    Only those playing or umpiring are permitted on the court area.

8.    Members are not permitted on the roof of the Parish Centre to retrieve balls under any circumstances.

9.    Members are expected to behave in a responsible manner and take care of the courts and equipment. Misbehaviour, coarse or abusive language, racquet or court equipment misuse by members or visitors will not be tolerated.

10.  External gates must be securely locked by the last person to leave the courts.

11.  A member may invite only one non-member onto the court to play. This can be on an occasional basis only and no visitor shall be invited to play on the courts more that three times in a twelve month period. A visitor’s fee of $4 per senior and $2 per junior must be paid. Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests and for collecting the visitor’s fee and passing it on to a Committee member.

12.  Doubles matches only should be played when all courts are occupied and other members are waiting to play and players should limit play to one six game set. The order of priority for gaining access to courts is by determining the longest time that any of the four courts has been occupied by the players.

MEMBERS IN BREACH OF THESE RULES WILL BE DEALT WITH AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMMITTEE
